I was thinking, with all of the doom & gloom taking over the ship, we could do a fun JP!! What do ya think??

I thought the gloom and doom WAS fun What do you have in mind?

Oh, don't get me wrong. I love doom & gloom as much as the next girl. lol. I hadn't thought as far as actually coming up with an idea of what would be fun yet.

Oh, come on! I've been writing Lovecraftian horror with another group, sadistic Grimm-like fairy tales in another...you mean we have to write bright happy stuff?

I always tend to let some humor slip on through my characters in these ST forum roleplays. A few sims ago, Mayne, Stone, and Jelo met up in the famous "Poo Ahn Yoo" restaurant in San Fran. I think it was last sim we had a failed rp thread and started a new one, and I jested my character had dreamed it all. My old character name (Orrin Jelo) is a gag as well.

I suppose if you want to, I've done a gag thread on some other sites before I call "pipe dream." Some pipe breaks, leaking hallucinogenic gas into the room/facility/ship and weird things can happen, people become goofy.

That Grimm-like fairy tales sounds fun. lol. As for bringing a little fun, I'm not too sure how we could manage it after the last few posts, actually. but I still think it could be a nice change every once in a while. the breaking pipes does sound like fun though!

The tone the story is taking is likely going to make any "fun" type of story have to be on hold for a bit. I am still working out details for Mission 2, a lot of which is still dependent on what choices your guys characters will be making very soon

Hee, I bet it does.  I think we're all getting little bits of insight as this roleplay goes on of what will happen, so everyone has a different view point, but no one has the full picture.   (or maybe compare it to a puzzle, and we all have a few pieces)

A long time ago I pitched an idea that we should put all the characters in a bar for one long communal post and just see what happens when everybody lets go of thief inhibitions.
