Welcome Aboard!

I am excited to welcome back everybody as we begin this new adventure aboard the USS Yorktown. We have some long time vets as well as some newer yet familiar faces, and some who haven't been with us for awhile. I have a great feeling that this is going to become our best sim yet, and I couldn't be more excited as we "Boldly Go" where no sim has gone before!

Hey all. Look forward to all this as I was disappointed when the USS Maelstrom story petered out when Elijah moved. Some of you might remember me from my insecure drugged up character that got chocked out by the antagonist and ended up in the brig (Mark Wright).

This time I'm writing as Micheal Luther. Look forward to all the nonsense.

Ooooo Welcome back Mark. That was your first time simming with us right? This is Alice...though you likely remember be as Lindsey. Wanted to go with a different character this time around so I dropped Lindsey and picked up Vestara...I'm excited to see where she takes me. This really sounds like a fun story you guys have put together...really hoping to get going

I, too, have decided to do another character. You guys remember me probably as Orrin Jelo, irl Tyler. But I'll hold back on my character information until I'm done with the bio.

Wow everyone is going with something different...makes me feel ultra lame for sticking with Mayne...but, Alice and I are doing something different by making our characters be married...should be interesting...

Ya, that was my first time. I told Elijah that i think I ended up writing a battlestar galactica type character rather than star trek. I had some big plans for him in that story so it was sad to see it end. Yes, the Mayne family should be interesting.

Also, i only helped Elijah by providing ideas on structure and premise. I don't know what to expect afterwards. I think the clockwork in his brain is going crazy right now.

Battlestar Galactica...such a great show early...then its like the writers forgot that the survivors were using limited resources...it stopped feeling like they were on the brink of extinction...still I watched it loyally to the end. One of the better sci fi shows of the last decade....actually probably The Best.

Elijah cracks me up...once he gets his mind stuck on something he can crank out the craziest story ideas...this looks like its no different. honestly I'm very interested in how this whole 'racial consequence' hook plays out. I have no idea where its going, so I cant wait for it to start

So glad to see so many familiar faces again, and some new ones, once they jump in. I always did a different character so I can barely remember any of my old character names let alone what ship/station they were on! BUT it's Jenn, Elijah's younger sister I am really excited for this storyline and to see where it leads, especially considering Camille's very close connections.

I'm excited to be back! Thank you for having me. I'm looking forward to taking another journey through the stars with you...

I am Daniel Huffaker. I know Elijah from his time in Kentucky. I haven't done a text based role play in awhile, but I have spent years with various role playing games and watched a lot of Star Trek growing up. Admittedly I'm more inclined to the universe of warhammer 40k when it comes to the future course of humanity, but I'm looking forward to participating.

Welcome Daniel! The only thing I know about Kentucky (having been there a couple weeks for a research collaboration) is that it is very, very green with rolling hills and has a crapload of prize horses and it's very much more "boonies" compared to where I live.

This is a valid assessment of Kentucky. I can say in all honesty though that we really enjoyed our short time there, and its a wonderful state, great people, and very scenic. I never thought i would live in KY. I was very pleasantly surprised by the place.

I really liked it when we visited. And I still dream about the giant Kroger lol!

Any friend of Elijah's is welcome here. I liked your post with the beacon, I already sent a text to Elijah demanding to know what new direction this sim is going...he either ignored me, or changed his phone number, lol.
