Mission 2:Queenspace

Assuming I didn't jump the gun (which I may have), we have two scenes that happened during mission 1 but are prequel to mission 2. I wrote up the Khan before I knew Khan was back in the current film. But he is who I wanted to write about before Omar "happened." I hope you enjoy it. He's a bit space marine, a bit boba fet, and a bit nameless-black-guy-from-serenity. I'm excited.

Nameless black guy from serenity?  You don't mean Early, do you?

I don't get the reference to Early. Wikipedia simply calls the character "the operative." He "like this installation...(doesn't) technically exist."

Oh, that guy.  I was thinking of the TV show for some reason.

Was Early the guy in the last episode? The bounty hunter with his own tiny sheep and the odd philosophical perspective?

Yeah, that's him.  Jules Early, I think.  But the guy from Serenity (the movie) was indeed nameless.

Also, its 3 in the morning here, I cant sleep & all I can think about is writing the next post. Is there something wrong with that?

Just means that you're excited. It bled into a couple of my dreams, though it was very violent and I suspect that there isn't a fabric/craft store on the Yorktown

All I have to say is that you shouldn't get into a room alone with Luther if you don't want your life to unexpectedly change. David mayne and Drexel both know it.

I will definitely keep that in mind. No being alone with Luther ever!

So I have to say I have never been so proud of a post as that last one I just wrote. Thanks to John for making me laugh my ass off about screwing aliens. I hope you guys like my new character Jassad Tain. We will be learning more about the Cardassian as the sim progresses, but it is a very fun character to write for, and required me leaving my comfort zone of David Mayne for the first time ever. It was kind of refreshing. Hope to hear feedback, positive and negative!

As someone who barely has a clue about Star Trek I look forward to the exposé. I was excited to see more characters not in leadership roles. It gives so much flexibility to the types of stories you can make up. Will you be writing Jassads son as a primary character, or more as an npc?

Wow David! That post was such a fun read through! Glad to see you come back so strong with that. I was worried that the death of david mayne would be a hard place to come back from, but you proved your talent as a writer. While I enjoyed Jassad, and cant wait to see what you have in store for him, what I liked most was how descriptive you were about the bar...for some reason I am picturing a grittier, darker atmosphere than Quarks bar in Deep Space Nine. Also I am noticing a trend that Jo(h?)n and David pair up very well. How many times are you guys going to write such quality stuff together! Can i get in on the fun! Vestara is doing her best Hellen Keller impression in the brig.

Haha. I was thinking about vestura yesterday. I thought about having Luther stop by, but hadn't figured out how to push things forward there. She is on a fun place as almost anything you do is unexpected.

Don't worry, I think Vestara will be let out soon.

I was hoping people remembered clear back to what I think was Vestura's very first post in the sim for the reference to the Klingon toy. That was clear back when Vestura's premise was marital strife due to politics. Oh how things have changed! Anyway, the whole end isn't that amusing if you don't remember that part. Elijah tells me that no one could have possibly forgotten it, but i don't know.

On the other hand I relish that i have probably forced drexel to stop drinking tea. ;P

I read most of mission 1 prior to becoming involved in two sittings. The first ended with the Klingon sex toy.
